Kitchen Cabinets

The kitchen had an open space between the stove and the wall. They wanted a cabinet to store cookie sheets, cutting boards etc... there. Mitch built this and installed it for them. It fills in the gap quite nicely. March 2007

Things in the toliet

Sometimes the toliet clogs and you don't know why like at our house. Mitch had to take the toliet up to get at this little bear figurine someone (though no one will confess) put into our toliet.

hooton's basement project fall 2006

We are finishing our basement off to make an apartment for my parents. These are pictures of Mitch finishing the framing to get ready for drywall. Look for ongoing pictures of this project.
There will be a full kitchen and bath, 1 living area, 1 den/2nd bedroom and one master bedroom with walk-in closet. Total square footage is around 1200.

bathroom september 2006

This was a small bathroom remodel. Put in quick connects with shut off values for bathroom sink and toliet. Replaced vanity and medicine cabinet with light fixtures. Replaced the floor with new linolium flooring. These changes lightened this small bathroom and the narrow sink left more room to move around. Small changes can make a big difference.

Outside Entrance Basement Door

Replaced an old door with a new one. This one was built by Hoot's to save the homeowner on cost of the door. The house needed a new one for security reasons. Outside entrance doors are a convenient and direct access to the basement. They can also be a safe escape route in an emergency.
